RIALS ARRESTED WITH BUPRENORPHINE AND NALOXANE SUBLINGUAL FILM 8MG/2MG

On June 02, 2026, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, assigned to the Narcotic Division, conducted a traffic stop for traffic violations.  Contact was made with a 64-year-old white female identified as Phyllis Marie Rials. 

Throughout the course of the investigation, agents seized: 

Marijuana less than 14 grams 
Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual Film 8 mg / 2mg (Schedule III) 
A warrant was issued. Phyllis Marie Rials was arrested on a later date for the following: 

(1)   Count of La. RS Code 40:968C Possession of a Schedule III CDS (Suboxone) Felony 

(2)   Citation issued for traffic infraction and a Criminal summons for Possession of Marijuana less than 14 Grams.
