NARCOTIC SEARCH WARRANT: KOCHANSKI DEJOHNTEX ARDOIN

On November 7, 2025, after a Narcotic Investigation, Narcotic Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, along with Allen Parish SWAT, conducted a No-Knock Narcotic Search Warrant at the residence of 519 S Stagg Street, Ville Platte, Louisiana 70586.   

 

Upon arrival and breaching the residence, contact was made with a 36-year-old black male, identified as Kochanski Dejohntez Ardoin.   Upon clearing the residence and detaining Ardion a search of the house was conducted. 

Located within the residence was the following: 

·     Located on the floor next to the bed in the Last bedroom to the left (master bedroom) was a Kel-Tech PLR 16 5.56 Cal Serial Number: PCF43 (Loaded with one ammunition in the chamber and a magazine containing (27) 5.56 Cal brass projectile bullets 

·     Located on a dresser in the last bedroom to the left (master bedroom), in a candle was a tied piece of plastic containing 8 grams of Crack Cocaine.

·     Located on the nightstand in the last bedroom to the left (master bedroom) in a prescription bottle with no label was .99 grams (4 rocks) of Crack Cocaine.

·     Located on the nightstand in the last bedroom to the left (master bedroom) in a red zipper cloth pouch was a sandwich bag containing (47) multi colored/assorted pills with no imprints consistent with MDMA / Ecstasy

·     Located in the refrigerator was a prescription bottle labeled to Heather Oppel in which contained a yellow in color liquid identified as Promethazine DM weighing 175 ml in weight. 

·     Located on the nightstand in the last bedroom was a THC Vape Pen 

·     Located on the dresser $86 in United States currency in an assorted small denomination consistent with narcotic distribution. 

·     Located in a closet in the last bedroom to the left (master bedroom) was a clear container containing a light brown powdered substance with white flakes suspected to be a Heroin/Fentanyl mixture weighing 25.8 grams. 

The residence, 519 S Stagg Street, Ville Platte, Louisiana, is located less than 2000 feet from Sacred Heart School grounds, which is a drug-free zone

Kochanski Ardoin is a convicted Felon within the State of Louisiana with previous charges in 2013: 14:95.1 Possession of a firearm/ carry concealed weapon by convicted felon, and 40:1238.1 Sale, distribution or possession of Legend Drug without prescription, in which the subject pled guilty to in 2014.  In 2015, 14:402 Taking contraband to/from penal institutions is prohibited. It should be advised that the subject was on probation/ parole for the charges of 14:95.1, Possession of a firearm/ carry concealed weapon by a convicted felon, and 40:1238.1 Sale, distribution or possession of Legend Drug without prescription beginning 04/25/19 ending 06/036/21

 

Kochanski Dejohntez Ardion was arrested and charged with the following 

 

·          

o    La RS 14:108.2 Resisting a police officer with force or violence

o    La RS 40:967A Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (Crack Cocaine) 

o    La RS 40:966A Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I (MDMA) 

o    La RS 14:95E Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance 

o    La RS 14:95.1 Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies

o    La RS 40:970 Possession with intent to distribute Schedule V (Promethazine) 

o    La RS 40:966 Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I (Heroin) 

o    La RS 40:967 Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (Fentanyl)  

o    La RS 40:981.3 Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law (Drug Free Zone) 

o    40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
