NARCOTIC REPORT: Jonathan Call Robert

On October 27, 2025, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office assigned to Criminal Patrol / Narcotics Division observed a vehicle use its signal to turn, less than 100 ft before turning at the intersection of 9th Street and Pecan Street.  Agents activated the emergency lights and sirens to conduct a traffic stop, and the vehicle stopped on Pecan and 9th Street.  Once stopped, contact was made with the driver, a 29-year-old black male who was identified as Jonathan Call Robert.  Upon advising the driver of the traffic stop, Robert was instructed to step out of the vehicle and step to the rear. Once at the rear of the vehicle, a weapons pat-down was conducted, leading to no results.  Agents observed several bulged items located within his pockets, and Jonthan Robert was asked if Narcotic Agents could empty his pockets, to which he stated yes. 

Located within his pockets was the following:

One piece of cellophane containing approximately .49 grams of Cocaine 
Three small black in color straws containing Cocaine residue.
A tied-up plastic sandwich bag containing a small blue-tinted baggie containing Cocaine Residue, and a plastic sandwich bag also contained Cocaine residue.
Jonathan Robert was issued a traffic summons for the traffic infraction and then released pending an arrest warrant for (1) Count RS 40:967C Possession of Schedule II Narcotics (Cocaine).
