NARCOTIC RELEASE: SAMUEL LEE POSS WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE METHAMPHETAMINE AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

On April 5, 2026, I, Narcotic Agent with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office assigned to the Narcotic Division, conducted a traffic stop on Wilson Campbell Road.  Contact was made with the driver, a 47-year-old white male identified as Samuel Damien Lee, and with the passenger, a 38-year-old white female identified as Heather M. Sylvester.   

Throughout the course of the investigation, agents seized and took the following actions: 

Samuel Lee received several citations for his traffic-related offenses and was transported to Evangeline Parish Jail for further booking and processing on the charges of La RS 40:967A Possession with intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS- Methamphetamine and La RS 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice.


Heather Sylvester is charged with La RS 40:967A Possession with intent to Distribute Schedule II Methamphetamine. 


Sooners Towing Company towed the vehicle due to the lack of insurance.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
