NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE: PARCEL SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED!

After completing a narcotics investigation, agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office secured a narcotics search Warrant for the residence of 220 Demoruelle Street, Ville Platte, Louisiana.  On July 21, 2025, Narcotic Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office and Allen Parish SWAT executed a Narcotic Search Warrant at the residence of 220 Demoruelle Ville Platt,e Louisiana 70586 in reference to a parcel search warrant.  Surveillance was conducted prior to deputies' arrival, and upon the parcel's delivery to the residence, agents observed an 18-year-old black male subject later as Keevonskie Williams, who was wearing a dark colored hoodie and pants, was observed taking the parcel into the residence.   Upon agents breaching the front door, contact was made with Keevonskie Williams, and he was immediately detained.   Contact was then made with two male juvenile occupants who were also detained.  Contact was also made with 4) tender age children within the residence.   Once secured, a search of the residence was conducted, and located in the bedroom in the hallway to the left on the left side of the residence was a thin metal container, containing three bundles of US currency, first one totaling: $3,780, the second totaling: $1,000, and the final third bundle totaling $1,000.  The currency located was in various denominations and packaged in numerous bundles of various denominations consistent with narcotic sales, with a total amount of $5,780 in United States Currency.   Agents located within the attic of the bathroom, a parcel package Priority parcel bearing tracking number 9405536206249304303640 destined for Ville Platte, LA, the addressee was listed as Kason Wilson, 220 Demoruelle Street, Ville Platte, LA 70586. The parcel contained a thin metal container containing a wrapped vacuum sealed package with four Ziploc bags containing Marijuana, the first one marked 4 Mask weighing 130 grams, 4 Puppy weighing 131 grams, 4 Guse weighing 130 grams, 4 Supet weighing 131 grams. For a total of 522 grams (Approximately 1 pound and 68.5 grams).  Located in the bedroom, to the right side of the hallway, to the left of the residence was a 9mm SCCY, purple in color, pistol Serial Number C272306.  Continuing the search, in the far-left bedroom on the Southside of the residence, agents located a digital scale along with a cardboard box containing a large amount of (sandwich-sized plastic bags, which in the past have been used to distribute/sell illegal narcotics. 

Keevonskie Williams was arrested and charged with:

(1)   Count 40"966A Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I Narcotics (Marijuana), (1) Count 40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from drug offense. (1) Count 14:95E Possession of a Firearm in the presence of CDS and (7) Counts 14:91.13 Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the presence of persons under seventeen years of age.
