~NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE~ DONNIE SHAD BORDELON

On April 10, 2025, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, while conducting criminal patrol in the city limits of Mamou, observed a male walking East in the middle of the roadway on Mulberry Street approaching the intersection of Mulberry and 6th Street, upon agents making contact with a 47-year-old white male, identified as Donnie Bordelon.  Upon the completion of a field interview and verbal consent to a search, Donnie Bordelon was in possession of a plastic containing approximately 0.12 grams of Methamphetamines. 

Donnie Bordelon was arrested and charged with (1) Count 40:967C Possession of a Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamines) and (1) Count of 14:100.1 Obstruction of Public Passages. 

As always, Sheriff Charles R. Guillory and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office are seeking information on criminal activity and urge the public to contact their Investigation Department at 337-363-2161 or through the agency's website at www.evangelineparishsheriff.org. Any person reporting information will remain anonymous. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
