NARCOTIC PRESS RELEASE: CURTIS ALEXANDER WHITE

On June 20, 2025, I Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office while conducting criminal patrol, observed a vehicle bearing the Louisiana license plate Z803921 commit a traffic infraction.  Conduct a left turn onto a residential driveway without signaling 100 ft prior to turning.  Agents made contact with 32-year-old white male who was identified as Curtis Alexander White.  During the filed interview, White gave verbal permission to the agents to search the vehicle.  During the search, agents located within the center consul was a pill bottle with no prescription label containing two unopened packages of Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual Film 8mg / 2mg, one opened package of Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual Film 8mg / 2mg still containing a sublingual film strip. The prescription bottle also containing two white round pills imprinted 17 identified as Furosemide 40 mg, eleven yellow capsule oblong imprinted D 03 identified as Gabapentin 300 mg, four yellow capsule / oblong pills imprinted SG 180 identified as Gabapentin 300 mg. Located in the center consul, in a small clear plastic baggie was 1.62 grams of Synthetic Marijuana.  Also located was an opened container on the passenger floorboard which contained alcohol.    Curtis White stated that he illegal received the Gabapentin by obtaining them from somebody else, and that the ones located was not his original prescription. 

Curtis Alexander White was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:966E Possession of marijuana, or synthetic cannabinoids (Misdemeanor), (1) Count of 40:968C (Suboxone) Possession of Schedule III CDS (Suboxone) (Felony) (1) Count 40:1060.13 Sade, distribution of possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited.
