NARCOTIC DIVISION SEIZES PROMETHAZINE

On July 13, 2026, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office assigned to the Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on Chataignier and Johnson Road with the driver, a 32-year-old black male identified as Darius Armondo Arvie, and the passenger, a 36-year-old black male identified as Willie Price.

Throughout the course of the investigation, agents seized: 

Promethazine without Codeine 

Darius Armondo Arvie was arrested on 2 Active Warrants as well as (1) Count of 40:1060.13 Sale, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without Prescription.  Arvie was also issued a traffic summons. 

Willie Price was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:1060.13 Sale, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without Prescription.
