Narcotic Division executes an Active Felony Warrant!

On June 22, 2026, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office assigned to the Narcotic Division arrived at a residence to execute an Active Felony Warrant on a 49-year-old white female identified as Naomi Fontenot.  

Throughout the course of the investigation, agents seized and took the following actions: 

Alprazolam

Fentanyl 

Naomi Fontenot was arrested and charged with:

1 Count 40:967C Possession of a CDS Schedule II Fentanyl (Felony)

1 Count 40:969C Possession of Alprazolam Schedule IV (Felony)

1 Count 14:91.13 Illegal use of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of a Person Under Seventeen Years of Age.
