NARCOTIC ARREST: THOMAS AND MOORE ARRESTED FOR CLANDESTINE LAB AND SEVERAL OTHER DRUG OFFENSES!

On June 25, 2026, upon the completion of a Narcotic investigation, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotic Unit and Allen Parish SWAT executed a Narcotic Search Warrant at 415 East LaSalle, Ville Platte, LA.  At the residence were a 28-year-old black male, identified as Juanelle Milton Richey, and a 25-year-old black female, identified as Shayla Monet Moore.  

Throughout the course of the investigation, agents seized and took the following actions: 

Agents located 246.6 fluid ounces of methamphetamine.

$1,437.00 US Currency consistent with distribution of narcotics.

Juanelle Milton Richey AKA Milton Thomas was arrested and charged with (1) Count La. RS Code 40:967A Distribution/Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II (CDS) Felony (1) Count 40:983 La. RS Code 40:983 Clandestine Lab (Felony) (1) Count La. RS Code 40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from Drug Offense (Felony) (1) Count of La. RS Code 40:981.3 Violations of Controlled Dangerous (1) Count of 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice. 

Shayla Monet Moore was arrested and charged with (1) Count La. RS Code 40:967A Distribution/Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II (CDS) Felony (1) Count 40:983 La. RS Code 40:983 Clandestine Lab (Felony) (1) Count La. RS Code 40:1041 Transactions involving proceeds from Drug Offense (Felony) (1) Count of La. RS Code 40:981.3 Violations of Controlled Dangerous
