🚨 Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office – Narcotics Arrest 🚨

On May 21, 2026, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, assigned to the Narcotic Division, conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on East Cotton. The stop was conducted because the vehicle's license plate cover was obstructing the agents' view. Contact was made with the driver, a 56-year-old white male identified as Brian K. Roy.

Brian K. Roy was arrested and charged with (1) Count of 40:969 Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance (Clonazepam) (1) Count of 40:966C Possession of a Schedule I (Synthetic Marijuana), and (1) Count of 14:130.1 Obstruction of Justice.
