EVANGELINE PARISH SHERIFF'S NARCOTIC AGENTS AND PROBATION AND PAROLE TEAM UP!

On September 16, 2025, dispatch contacted Narcotic Agents in reference to Probation & Parole being at 2394 Navy Road, Ville Platte, LA, and of narcotics being found at the residence of the offender, who was a 32-year-old white male, identified as Lane David. 

Upon arrival, narcotic agents met with P & P Agent, who advised that during the walk-through of the home, agents recovered .70 grams of marijuana, a Taurus TX 22 caliber Serial # 1PT364763, a glass smoking pipe with residue, and .17 grams of methamphetamines.  

Lane David was arrested and charged (1) Count 40:967C Possession of Methamphetamines, (1) Count 14:95.1 Possession of Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies, (1) Count 14:95E Illegal Carrying of Weapons: Crime or CDS.   Lane David also violated his probation.
