EPSO Narcotics Division Keeps Drugs Off Evangeline Parish Streets!

NARCOTICS DIVISION - TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO MULTIPLE DRUG SEIZURES & ARRESTS**
On July 21, 2026, Narcotic Agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop for multiple traffic violations. What began as a routine enforcement action quickly escalated into a significant narcotics discovery.
Agents made contact with four occupants:
Driver: Karla Fontenot Ortego, 33‑year‑old white female
Front Passenger: Lacy Nichole Latiolais, 43‑year‑old white female
Rear Passenger: Cody Paul Isreal, 38‑year‑old white male
Secondary Rear Passenger: Anita M. Isreal, 67‑year‑old white female
📦 Narcotics & Paraphernalia Seized
Agents recovered the following illegal substances and items from the vehicle:
Acetaminophen Oxycodone Hydrochloride
Methamphetamine
Two glass pipes (paraphernalia)
Xanax (Alprazolam)
THC Gummy
