CRIMINAL PATROL ARREST VICTORIA LEDOUX FOR USE OF NARCOTICS IN THE PRESENCE OF PERSONS UNDER 17!

On February 2, 2026, agents were conducting Criminal Patrol within the city of Ville Platte and conducted a traffic stop on Lasalle within the parking lot of Murphy's Gas adjacent to Walmart. The vehicle's license was registered to Victoria Layne Ledoux.   Ledoux was advised of the reasoning of the traffic stop, which was La RS 32:295 (No seatbelt).   Ledoux stated she had a THC vape pen within her vehicle that she stated she had a prescription for, but she could not produce one. Ledoux gave verbal permission to search the vehicle while she attempted to locate her prescription.  During the vehicle search, agents located a green-colored pill bottle labeled to Kipp Ledoux for lisdexamfetamine 40 mg cap, which was approximately 0.32 grams of Methamphetamine. 

Victoria Layne Ledoux was arrested and charged with La RS Code 40:967C, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, and La RS 14:91.13 Illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under seventeen years of age.
