CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS ARRESTS BRONSON FORD FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS!
On April 4, 2026, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen ATV.
Patrol deputies responded to the complaint, initiated a preliminary investigation, and ultimately forwarded the case to detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division.
On April 7, 2026, deputies received information that the stolen ATV was located at a residence on Gautreaux Lane. Upon arrival, deputies observed an ATV matching the description of the one reported stolen just days prior. The responding deputies immediately notified detectives of the situation.
During their investigation, detectives developed leads that identified the suspect as 23-year-old Bronson Nacona Ford, of Ville Platte.
During an interview, Ford told detectives that he had recently purchased the ATV; however, he was unable to provide any information regarding the seller or details of the transaction.
Detectives confirmed that the ATV located at Ford's residence had been reported stolen on April 4, 2026.
The ATV had also been altered and sustained damage while in Ford's possession.
As a result of the investigation, Bronson N. Ford was arrested on April 7, 2026, and booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on the following charges:
Charges: One (1) count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things (Felony) - Louisiana R.S. 14:69
One (1) count of Simple Criminal Damage to Property (Misdemeanor) - Louisiana R.S. 14:56
Bond: $20,000.00
