EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, EVANGELINE PARISH IS UNDER A BURN BAN!
No person shall cause or allow the burning of waste or other combustible material on any property owned by him or under his control.
The Sheriff advises that you are not to burn anything until further notice. If you are caught burning anything, you can and will be cited.
