ARREST BRIEFING: MARTIN JACOBY GUILLORY

On June 5, 2025, Deputies were dispatched to the 3700 Blk. of Bond Rd. in reference to a vehicle burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, Deputies learned that the suspect (Martin Guillory B/ M DOB 05/21/1993) was inside of the victim's vehicle attempting to commit a theft.  

When the victim confronted the suspect, he fled on foot and took cover in a crawfish pond not far from the residence.  Multiple deputies responded to the scene to located the suspect where he was later located with a drone.  The suspect was apprehended, placed under arrest, and charged with simple burglary and criminal trespassing. He was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and his bond was set at $115,00.00.
