ARREST BRIEFING: JEREMIAH JEROME ALLISON
On April 21, 2025, Deputies responded to 1702 France Road in reference to a report of a burglary. The victim
informed Deputies that several items were taken from inside and outside the residence. The victim
advised Deputies that a washer, dryer, Honda generator, 9.9 Mercury outboard motor, several window air
conditioner units, air compressors, truck rims, and other stolen items. The victim also had a white male suspect on camera.
During the investigation, Detectives were able to identify the white male on camera. Detectives contacted the white male at his residence and he admitted to stealing the four rims and sold them at Acadian Salvage in Crowley. He was later charged with misdemeanor theft. Detectives questioned him about the other items and he said that he was with a black male who had stolen the other items at the house but didn't know his real name.
After further investigation, it was learned that the black male suspect's name is Jeremiah Allison. During the investigation, Detectives went to the suspect's friend's residence in Redell and located the red Honda generator and a window AC unit in the front yard. Detectives contacted several of the subjects renting the house and learned that Jeremiah had unloaded the stolen items from the vehicle he was in and left them there in the front yard.
Detectives took possession of the stolen items. and issued an arrest warrant for Jeremiah. He was later booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and charged with Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Felony Theft, and Criminal Trespass. His bond was set at $65,250.00.
