On March 18, 2024 Narcotic Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office, Allen Parish Swat, and Evangeline Parish Patrol Units executed a No-knock Narcotic search warrant at the residence of 1023 St. Julien Road, which was the residence of Ricky Champman.  Upon arrival at the residence, contact was made with several individuals outside the residence.  The suspects were detained and identified as Ricky Champman, Dustin Hamous, Alexis Brooke Fontenot and 2 juveniles.  A search of the residence and vehicles located on the property of the residence was conducted.  The results were as follows.

Ricky Chapman was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to distribute 56.4 grams of Methamphetamines, Simple Possession of a suboxone strip, and 11 pills identified as Zolpidem Tartrate 10mg. Also located was a meth smoking pipe and a digital scale.  Ricky Champman was also charged with Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Control Dangerous Substance: an AR 22 pistol and a 17 Cal. Rifle seized.

Dustin Hamous was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute 74.91 grams of Methamphetamines and Possession of (7) Hydrocodone 10mg Pills.  Also seized in US Currency was $719.00 all items located in the Ford Truck of Dustin Hamus on the property were collected.

Alexis Brooke Fontenot's vehicle was also on the property and searched.  Alexis Brooke Fontenot was released however, she will be charged with Possession of (1) Clonazepam 2mg and (1) Clonazepam 5mg found in her vehicle with no prescription.
