On Sunday March 3rd at approximately 1258hrs. Deputies with the Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on Old Hwy 13 at Country Ln. for a window tint violation. During the stop Deputies developed probable cause to search the vehicle.

The search yielded the following narcotics:

6.6 grams of Methamphetamine

5 grams of Marijuana

3.5 Hydrocodone pills

2 Dextroamphetamine pills.

This led to the arrest of the passenger Michelle Lynn McDaniel - 55 of Mamou.

The Driver Tellisa Sheree McCauley - 48 of Mamou was released on traffic citations.
