On January 18, 2024 Narcotics Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office conducted a search warrant at the residence 570 Bayou Marron Road Ville Platte Louisiana 70586.

Richard Manuel was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute 28 grams of methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm in the presence of illegal narcotics.

On January 18, 2024, Narcotic Agents  while conducting criminal patrol on the L'anse Bleu Road  observed an occupant in the vehicle commit traffic violations which led to a traffic stop.  The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jessica Deville for 6.78 grams of Methamphetamines  and she was issued a traffic summons for Driving Under Suspension.
