As you are aware, there have been numerous ATV, Motorcycle, and Side by Side thefts. Not mentioning, the burglary of homes and vehicles. Keep all vehicles, homes, and outbuildings locked and secured at all times. Leave no valuables especially guns or weapons in any vehicle. Keep all ATVs, Motorcycles, and Side by Side out of sight. The keys should be hidden and not left on the bikes or Side by Side. 

We live in a time when thieves will prey on anyone who becomes complacent and doesn't take the time to secure their valuable items. Lately, there is evidence that these thieves are armed. DO NOT confront anyone who is on your property. It is best that you phone the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office directly at 337-363-2161 for any strange activity.

Make it as difficult as possible for thieves to steal your property, do whatever it takes to safely protect your property. Most importantly, keep yourself safe and make that phone call to the Sheriff's Office.
