On May 12, 2023, Evangeline Parish Sheriff Deputies received a complaint of fraudulent activity occurring in the victim's bank account.  The victim advised that there was around fifteen hundred dollars missing from his checking account. 

During the investigation, Detectives discovered that the suspect Jordan Richard W/M DOB 08/01/1995 of Eunice used his Paypal account to transfer money from the victim's banking account on multiple occasions.  Upon completion of the investigation, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Richard who is currently incarcerated in Odessa County Texas for several unrelated charges.
