On April 21, 2023, Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 3700 Blk. of LA. Hwy 95 in reference to a four-wheeler theft. During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect (Jody Lejeune W/M DOB 01/24/1991 of Eunice) attempted to sell the four-wheeler to one of the victim's friends. Once this was discovered, the four-wheeler was recovered and returned to the victim. On May 8, 2023, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect. The suspect was subsequently arrested on June 13, 2023 for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things with a bond set at $25,000.00. He also has a hold with Probation and Parole for violating his probation obligations.
