Hearts of Hope is the only sexual trauma center in Acadiana.  They oversee all sexual assault reporting and case management for children and adult victims in the community.  April is Sexual Assault Month.  The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office and the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office showed their support for the Hearts of Hope Center.  Hearts of Hope in only their first year interviewed over 100 Children.  They have become a large part of assisting law enforcement in resolving numerous cases.  

Sheriff Guillory would like to take this time to thank Hearts of Hope for their never-ending effort in assisting law enforcement and for the protection of those victims of sexual assault.
