On December 20, 2022, The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint in reference to a simple burglary located on Joe Ln. within the unincorporated area of Mamou.  During the investigation it was learned that the suspect Timothy Jacques Courville W/M DOB 3/3/1981 of the Mamou area made forced entry into the victim's camp and had stolen approximately $1000.00 worth of property.  The suspect was questioned by Detectives and admitted to taking items from that location.  The suspect was later arrested and booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail for Simple Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Trespass.  His bond is set at $46,500.00.
