The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office will be conducting a Saturated Patrol for DUI's throughout the Parish during this Holiday Season.  They will be looking for impaired drivers and for other traffic violations.  The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission funds these patrols for Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.  Deputies will be out patrolling keeping the citizens of this parish safe.

In 2020 there were over 200 Alcohol Impaired Driving Fatalities concerning adults 21 and older.  In the same year there were approximately 15 Alcohol Impaired Driving Fatalities involving those under 21.
