Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 29th of March 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department's Narcotics Unit, Patrol Unit, and Agents from the LA. Department of Probation and Parole, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 2412 4th street in the East side subdivision. The search warrant stemmed from many complaints of narcotics sales and surveillance of the residence. Agents entered the home and conducted a search without incident. Once the search was completed three quarter of a pound of marijuana was recovered, along with a scale and baggies. Agent also recovered over $11,000.00 in U S currency from suspected drug sales. The following person turned himself in to authorities on the morning of March 30-2022.
