Search Warrant Executed In Turkey Creek!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:
On the 12th of February The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Criminal Patrol Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 2028 Pine street in Turkey Creek. Deputies have been receiving numerous complaints about this residence, and have spent many hours doing surveillance on it. When deputies entered the residence, they found illegal narcotics and firearms. This led to the following actions being taken.

LA:RS: 40:969.C- Possession of Schedule IV
LA:RS: 40:1023- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
LA:RS: 40:967. C.1- Possession with Intent to distribute Methamphetamine
LA:RS: 40:966- Possession of Marijuana
Kathy Leah Halbert

Turkey Creek, LA. 70585
W/F AGE 39

She was charged with

She also had two outstanding warrants

LA:RS: 40:967.C- Possession of Methamphetamine
He also had three outstanding warrants

He was charged with:
LA:RS: 40:969.C - Possession of Schedule IV
LA:RS: 40:1023- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
LA:RS: 40:967. C.1- Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

On the 14th of February, 2021 Agents also made a traffic stop on a car in the Turkey Creek area. During the stop, Deputies could smell Marijuana coming from the car which resulted in the following arrest-
