Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 13th of January 2021 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Criminal Patrol Unit, conducted two search warrants in the Lone Pine / Blood Bend area. These warrants stemmed from surveillance, and crime submitted tips. The following were arrested on charges of illegal narcotics.

W/M Age 23

 

He was charged with

LA: RS: 40:966. A Possession with intent to distribute marijuana 44 GRAMS

LA:RS: 40:967. C.1 Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine 11 GRAMS

LA:RS: 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia

LA: RS: 14:95. E Possession of firearm in the presence of CDS

He was also in possession of over $ 650.00 in U S currency from drug sales.

 

Tyler Dane Sparks

1598 Blood Bend Road

St.Landry, LA. 71367

W/M Age 31

 

He was charged with.

LA:RS: 40:966. C.1 Possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

LA: RS: 14:95. E Possession of firearm in the presence of CDS

LA:RS 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia

LA: RS: 14:91.13 Possession of CDS in presence of minor

 Mr. Sparks was in possession of over three pounds of high-grade marijuana, along with over one hundred vape vials of THC oil.  He was also in possession of $ 2,500.00 in U S currency from illegal drug sales
