Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:                                                                                                                                       

On the 4th of December 2020 Evangeline Parish Criminal Patrol Deputies were working when they saw a subject that they knew had warrants. Deputies pulled into the parking lot of a business in Vidrine. They made contact with the subject Joshua Paul Lafleur. They advised him he had warrants and arrested him. When they searched him after arrest he was found to be in possession of narcotics. This led to the following action being taken.

Galliano, LA.

W/M AGE 36

He was charged as follows

LA:RS: 40:967 Possession of methamphetamine

LA:RS: 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia

LA:RS: 14:91.13 Illegal use of CDS in presence of minor

Failure to appear for court

He remains in custody
