Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following: 

On the 1st of December 2020 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department criminal patrol k-9 unit, conducted a traffic stop on old hwy 13 for a traffic violation. K-9 officer Willis made contact with driver, while speaking to her he noticed a potent smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver and passenger were removed from the vehicle. Deputy Willis then deployed k-9 Diego, who altered on the vehicle. The vehicle was then searched and 15.5 grams of marijuana was recovered. Which led to the following action.
