Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

On the 13th of October 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Narcotic unit, assisted the La. Probation and parole department at a residence located at 154 Bussy Lane in Ville Platte. A probation compliance search was conducted and narcotics were located. This led to the following actions.

2 Counts possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine

Resisting an officer 

On the 12th of October 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The deputy conducted an interview and searched the vehicle and located illegal narcotics. The following action took place.

He was cited and released for

Possession of marijuana

Speeding 

On the 4th of October 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments K-9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a car for a traffic violation. Upon coming into contact with the driver illegal narcotics were noticed in plain view. Agents then conducted a search of the car and the following occurred.

She was cited and released for possession of marijuana

He was cited and released for possession of marijuana and traffic violations
