Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On September 16, 2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 1011 Jefferey Street. Agents entered the residence and conducted a search and located illegal narcotics. The owner of the residence was not arrested at the time due to serious medical issue. A warrant of arrest is active for him at this time.

 On September 21-2022 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence located 3798 Opelousas Road, Agents entered the residence and detained three people. Agents then conducted a search of the residence and located a Varity of illegal narcotics. The following were arrested.

Possession with intent to distribute Heroin

Possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl over 33 grams

Possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine

4 counts of possession of schedule 4 narcotics

Possession of schedule 3 narcotics
