More Narcotics Taken Off Of The Streets Of Evangeline!!!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 

On the 21st of March, 2022- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit made contact with a male subject that was standing in the parking lot of a business, several hours after the business closed. Upon coming into contact with the subject, He displayed extreme nervousness and could not answer any questions pertaining to the reason as to why he was there. Agents then conducted a Probable Cause search and located Narcotics and a Firearm. At that time the Male subject was arrested, booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and charged as follows:

 

Chad Abraham Richard

896 Mahaw Lane

Branch, LA. 70516

W/M Age 54

 

He was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of a Firearm in Presence of CDS  (controlled dangerous substance)

 

 

 

 

Also, In the early morning hours of March 21st- 

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotic Agents conducted a Field Interview with a Female subject that was walking in the middle of the road in the Lanse Bleu/ Cotton Gin area. Upon speaking to the female, it was determined that she was found to be in possession of narcotics. The female was then arrested, booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and was charged as follows:

 

Brittany Paige Langley

5118 Lansley Road

Ville Platte, LA. 70586

W/F Age 21

 

 

She was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine

 

 

 

On the 22nd of March, 2022- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit received a phone call advising that there was a black male subject in the parking lot of the Evangeline Parish Courthouse, selling narcotics.  Agents arrived at the Courthouse and attempted to locate and make contact with the subject. When Agents located the subject and began to approach him, He began walking away, refusing to obey commands to stop. While walking away from the Agents, the suspect threw a bag of narcotics from his pocket and started running. The Agents were able to capture the suspect and took him into custody without further incident.

 He was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and charged as follows:

 

Travis Leday

216 East Beech Street

Ville Platte, LA. 70586

B/M Age 39

 

   

He was charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine

Resisting An Officer By Flight
