Sheriff Eddie Soileau, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office has released the following:

On October 26, 2019, at approximately 0738 hours, Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Deputy Jonah Lirette took a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred on the 1100 block of Bobbi Jo Road in Ville Platte. The vehicle is described as a grey, 2006 Chevrolet 1500, Z71 bearing Louisiana License Plate number C722460. Additional details include an aluminum tool box in the bed of the truck and a Mamou High School parking pass sticker on the rear glass.
