On October 30, 2021, 17 year old juvenile victim reported that the suspect (Nathan Thomas Jr.) who she was previously in a personal relationship with was being followed by the suspect while traveling home in her vehicle.  During that time, the suspect cut off the victim with his vehicle preventing her from being able to reach her destination.  Once both vehicles came to rest, the suspect exited his vehicle and approached the victim's vehicle.  At that time, the suspect forcefully took the victim's cell phone from her and fled the area.

Once the victim returned home, the suspect confronted the victim about what he discovered in her phone.  During the confrontation, the suspect strangled the victim with his hands causing her to briefly lose consciousness.  The suspect was subsequently questioned and arrested for one count of simple robbery and one count of second degree battery.  The incident took place in the Reddell area.
