Two recent arrests made involving ATV theft's within Evangeline Parish with more to come.

On Friday October 9th, 2021 Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of the Chicot Park Rd. in reference to an ATV theft.  Deputies learned the ATV taken was an older model tan Honda ATV.  The ATV was taken out of the victim's storage shed when he was away from his residence.     

On October 16th, 2021, Detectives were patrolling the 5000 block of the Lanse' Bleu Rd. During that time, Mr. Anthony Jake Lebleu was observed riding an older model tan Honda ATV.  Once Mr. Lebleu stopped the ATV, detectives were able to positively identify the ATV as the one stolen from the Chicot Park Rd.  During the investigation, it was learned that two suspects were involved in the theft.  One suspect was later identified as (Anthony Jake Lebleu W/M DOB 6/16/1999). He was arrested and charges with Illegal possession of Stolen Things, Accessories After the Fact, and Unauthorized Use of a Movable. The second suspect was identifies as (Dylan Fournerat W/M DOB 06/26/1997). He was arrested and charged with Theft, Criminal damage to property, Simple burglary, and Trespassing.  The investigation is ongoing.
