Sheriff Charles R. Guillory of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 

On the 15th Day of September, 2021- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, along with Deputies from the Patrol Division, conducted a Search Warrant in Ville Platte, At the residence of 723 South Dupre St. ( Apartment #85) 

Once Agents entered into the residence, a large amount of illegal narcotics were located inside. This led to the following arrest.

 

Gerald Lee Germaine Tezeno

513 NE Railroad St.

Ville Platte, LA.

B/M Age 30

He was charged with:

Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana (2.75 pounds)

Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine (½ pound)

Possession with Intent to Distribute Xanax (67 pills)

Possession of Hydrocodone

Possession of Promethazine

 

 

 

Also, on the 15th of September, 2021- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on a car that was obstructing traffic on N. Thompson St. in Ville Platte. Upon Agents making contact with the driver, narcotics were seen in plain view. Agents then conducted a search of the car and the occupants. Upon completion of the search the following person was arrested.

 

Akeem Mendez Williams

1066 Shorty Ln.

Mamou, LA.

B/M Age 32

 

He was charged with:

Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine (4.8 grams)

Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana (80 grams)

Possession of Hydrocodone

Possession of Promethazine

 

Brashley Wilson:

She was cited for Possession of Marijuana and released

 

 

Marqita Hawkins:

She was cited for Possession of Marijuana and released.
