Traffic Stops Lead To The Discovery Of Illegal Narcotics!!

Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 

On the 3rd of April, 2021-The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Patrol Division conducted a traffic stop on the Vidrine Road. The Deputy made contact with the driver and advised the driver of the reason for the stop. The Deputy then conducted an interview with the occupants of the vehicle, and advised them that he could smell marijuana coming from the car. The driver gave the Deputy consent to search the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, narcotics were located. The following actions then occurred.

She was cited for Possession of Marijuana over 27 grams.

 

 

 

On the 5th of April, 2021- The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit conducted a traffic stop on a car, for a traffic violation at the intersection of the Vidrine Rd / Highway 13. The Deputy made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle, conducted an interview,  and ultimately requested permission to search the vehicle, which was granted.  Once the Deputy searched the car, he located narcotics. This led to the following actions.

He was charged with:

LA:RS: 40:967.C-   Possession of Methamphetamine

 

 

 

Vindezz Terrell Thibodeaux

Mamou, LA. 70554

B/M Age 21

 

He was charged with:

LA:RS: 40:967.C-  Possession of Methamphetamine

LA:RS: 40:967. C- Possession of Schedule II Narcotics.

And an outstanding warrant for Failure To Appear
