Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 5th of January 2021 following an investigation. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Criminal Patrol Unit, along with Deputies conducted a search warrant of a residence located at 402 Court street. Once deputies made entry of the residence, they located a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, guns, and illegal U S currency from drug sales.

LA: RS: 40:967. B. 1 Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine

LA:RS 40:966.C Possession of marijuana

LA:RS: 14:95E Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS

LA:RS: 14:95.1 Possession of a firearm by a felon

 Criminal Patrol agents seized 11.5 ounces of high grade methamphetamine, marijuana, 2 shotguns and over $ 2,400.00  in U S currency.
