Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 2nd of January 2021 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments Criminal Patrol Unit along with Deputies, Received information about narcotics sales from a residence in the Basile area. Agents were able to gather enough information for a search warrant. Deputies then executed a search warrant on a residence located at 2456 Guillory street in Basile. Once the search was completed deputies recovered crystal methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
