Sheriff Charles R. Guillory, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office releases the following:

 On the 28th of December 2020 The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department Criminal Patrol Unit made a traffic stop on a white pickup. The deputy approached the vehicle and saw the driver trying to conceal something in his pocket. The deputy removed the driver and conducted an investigation and then recovered crack cocaine, on the driver. The information gathered on scene led to a search warrant of the subject's home. When deputies executed the search warrant, they found more crack cocaine and U S currency from the illegal drug sales. This was the second time in the past thirty days, that agents have conducted a search on this person and his residence and recovered narcotics.
